Race Intelligence, Not Tipster Guesswork
RaceEasy profiles every runner against today's conditions using transparent, weighted factors β then explains the reasoning in plain English.
Best Bet
The highest-scoring runner based on evidence alignment across all active factors. Backed by profile, not by price.
Each-Way
The runner whose profile best suits a place return β often a mid-market horse with strong course or surface credentials.
Longshot
A credible outsider with at least two hard positive signals. Never promoted on price alone β must clear a strict evidence gate.
Position Payout
A runner the engine ranks 2ndβ5th that the market underrates (3rdβ7th in price). Designed for Bet365 Position Payout bets β the horse only needs to place.
Every score is built from visible evidence
Scores rank runners relative to each other within the race β not absolute probability estimates. A score of 78 in one race is not directly comparable to 78 in another. The engine applies different factor weightings depending on course type, surface, and race conditions.

Each runner card shows colour-coded score pills for the most impactful factors. The Daily tab includes a full score breakdown with raw scores, weights, and points for every factor. Tap 'What do these badges mean?' in any race to see the complete guide.
Lucky 15 Builder
The Lucky 15 Builder prepares four selections for a Bet365 Lucky 15 β a 15-bet combination covering all win and place permutations of four picks.
Win Picks L15
Ranks today's win picks by a combined score: engine score weighted with the course's historical win rate. A βStrongβ course badge means the engine has produced winners here consistently.
Position Payout
Identifies runners ranked 2ndβ5th by the engine with a positive value gap β the engine rates them higher than the market. Suited to Bet365 Position Payout fixed-multiplier bets where the horse only needs to finish placed, not win.
Course confidence badges
Win rate above 25% β engine performs well at this course
Average historical performance β no strong signal either way
Below-average win rate β treat selections with extra caution
Fewer than 8 historical races β no confidence rating available
Reading the score badges
Score bars show relative strength within the race field. Gaps between runners matter more than the absolute number.
How a Longshot qualifies
A runner must clear at least two of the following positive signals to be nominated as the Longshot:
AI analysis β narration, not prediction
The AI summary translates the scoring engine's output into plain English. It explains which factors are driving the rankings, where the race narrative is interesting, and where genuine uncertainty exists.
The AI summary does not alter scores or rankings. It only describes the evidence already produced by the scoring engine. Claude has no access to real-time prices, late market moves, non-runner information, or any data not present at scoring time.
Strongest signal β and where to be cautious
Performs well in:
- Exposed handicappers with reliable form histories
- All-weather races with repeatable surface patterns
- Course-specialist tracks where CD form is decisive
- Races where market confidence and profile evidence diverge
Less reliable in:
- Unraced or lightly raced maidens
- Extreme or late going changes
- Races with significant late jockey swaps or non-runners
- Festival races with compressed market prices
Tracked results, not claimed results
Every race scored by RaceEasy is logged with the selections made at scoring time. Results are tracked against actual outcomes continuously β not curated after the fact. Race profiles are generated from the latest available racecard data at scoring time; late changes after publication may not be reflected.
Profitability tracking (SP/BSP/each-way yield) is in development. RaceEasy currently focuses on profiling accuracy and race interpretation rather than betting returns alone.
RaceEasy is designed to support analysis, not replace judgement. Racing outcomes remain uncertain, and no model can account for every variable affecting a horse race.
